You mean Matt Hunwick

That is correct.

I had some beers

Remember when all our in-house GMs here were demanding Jones get in the lineup? Well you got him.

Just like the Lundkvist demands and th Kravtsov demands.

Kravtsov
Lundkvist
Andersson

And (2) top picks that aren't impact players.

This team couldn't draft a forward if McDavid was on the board and they had the next pick.

It can be all of the above.

It should be all of the above. Lavi's got a shit situation but he isn't making it any better by continuing to cater to his vets.
Sitting them is the easy way out and will just result in more losses. I think the coaching staff/management is basically telling them either play up to acceptable standards or continue to embarrass yourselves. At this point what do Lavi and Drury have to lose?

Their jobs and deservedly so. No doubt the players roll their eyes when Drury comes in and starts to shout about accountability.

The players have nothing to roll their eyes about. Drury’s job is to put the best team possible on the ice, and I don’t think anyone who regularly watches this team really thought Trouba or Goodrow gave them the best chance to win, especially at their cap hits.

If the players are really that angry about their buddies being pushed out then demand a trade, problem is they don’t want too because they know the rangers are amongst the cushiest places to play (country club atmosphere). So they are just trying to wait it out until Lavi/Drury are inevitably fired, thus the culture problem the team has. The Core think they are touchable

This is my new chair for watching games.

It’s appropriate because you have the best seat in the house as other teams screw the Rangers
So you like to watch? No harm in that.

How has not a single veteran player been scratched this entire shitty run? Fire Laviolette, Drury and Kreider and start over. The culture of zero accountability needs to end. Period.

All the talk in the post game and no action is getting stale and it all starts from Dolan and Drury. They write what the players say in the media afterwards. Im convinced of that

No intensity, no nutsack on this squad. Get rid of half the team

I’d keep Mancini, Schneider, Lafy, Trocheck, Panarin, Cuylle, Edstrom, Rempe, Chytil. Mackey

Waive trade Kreider Mika Miller Lindgren. Try to make a hockey trade, move on from Fox. His awful skating will be a big issue as the NHL gets faster as he gets older. Get some defenseman that can pass the puck, skate and play defense

Nor sure what they're doing.
There's no sign of them trying to rally the season.
If they're playing like this because they're pissed at Drury it's just going to get Lav fired.
What the hell is this?
This happens every couple of years. Same players. Same issue. But I guess…let’s fire the coach…that’s gonna work this time.

Rangers management is telling them to do this

Imagine 25-26 season Hagens and Perreault on the Rangers. One can dream

So far, they've proven they are right.

It’s like walking into a restaurant kitchen and no one knows how to cut an onion. It has to be a bit confusing for the guy. I don’t blame him. At all.
Laughing at the onion reference not your point.
At this point it couldn’t hurt to replace Housley.
Over the last several seasons the defensemen on this team have had issues with their gaps, waiving sticks instead of taking the man, keeping traffic out of the front of the crease and screening their goalie.
Couldn’t hurt for them to hear a different voice. The oldest d-man on the team is Fox.

I f***ing hope that doesn't happen, because it would be so damning. You quit on your fans, your coach, your teammates because the GM is an asshole?
I’m a manager in my work and it is absolutely fundamental that you do not lose your staff. Say a very popular member of staff sucks at his job, I am not firing him if I have any reason to believe that will affect workplace morale and doubly so if I believe they will blame me.
I’m also not threatening to fire the guy who has been there for ages with lots of success who everybody likes and respects.
And I sure as hell am not going to the media and all the companies close by to tell them how much I want rid of these people.

If I don’t have my staff on side then my company can’t function. They will be far less motivated and reliable. I speak to my staff and explain things in house. We find a way forward together.
Despite all the chat here I felt sure moving trouba the way it was done surrounded by the ludicrous memo around the league would not have the desired effect.
How much better than him are our other D not called Fox? How much does it even matter if the staff have turned on management?
Well, they would argue management turned on them.

If you think this teams endless void of issues can truly be fixed with a quick blurb suggestion from any of us on here, we've got something coming.

This isn't some small cancerous mole on your ear lobe.

Its Stage 4 metastatic bone cancer.

The jersey that we all know and love is bring dragged through the mud by this core.

That goal by Kempe yesterday. They poked every Ranger fan in the chest, looked you directly in your eyes and told you to F off.

This isn’t exactly an apples to apples comparison.

People are traded throughout sports from team to team and city to city every year. That’s why you constantly hear players talking about it being a profession. Many have young kids. Many live near family or wives work.

Trouba could have mutually terminated his contract and signed for far less anywhere in the league. As it is he keeps his money and is moving to SoCal.

The rest of the team need to be professionals. If not, sweeping changes are needed. Professional sports teams should not be expected to keep overpriced players on their payroll to keep players friends happy. Organizations are meant to make money and win. For example you don’t keep Kreider around if you think you have a smart trade worked out, because Zibby likes to eat lunch with him.
