He was a disappointment offensively from the time he joined Ottawa, but I was always impressed with his effort without the puck. If he has come through his struggles off-ice and committed to conditioning, there’s no reason he can’t put up 0.5 points per game even on an awful Detroit team.

Dude might be chomping at the bit to prove himself with an opportunity to get the ice time required to do it.Knowing at the deadline there is a chance to be moved.

As an Oilers fan this is hilarious. We know all about - "GiVe IcE TiMe To ThE KidS!". Then they have no confidence because they lose 50 games. Hall was straight up depressed by the time he got out of EDM. The kids won't get any less ice time in the AHL, but at least they can smoke the competition.

I think this maybe one of the better signings of the day. If Ryan finds his game again it’s an insane bargain. If he does not you can let him ride a lower roll at a very low salary. It’s the definition of low risk high reward signing.

Cant find a better person then bobby. Hes gonna score 15 goals minimum for 1 mil, great signing detroit. He was a beast for ottawa in our eastern conf run. I think he finds his game again after all the hardships
