Brassard is much more than a 'tolerable 3rd line center'

Brassard doesn't only have 9p in 7gp, he has also scored a point on every single goal he has been on the ice for (both at ES and on the PP). All points have been goals or primary assists.

He has also scored points on 56.25% of the Rangers' goals, only Krejci has a higher percentage with 59.09%.

Thank god so many people were wrong about him. Whenever a young skilled guy of that level leaves a situation like columbus there's always a possibility... though him floundering under hitchcock was it? Well anyway that helped support the idea he just wouldn't do well.

He has given us way more than gabs would have I believe that big time. To get Moore AND Dorsett and ALL of these guys can be here for a few years!? AAAAAND Gabs would have been gone after next year ANYWAY? Phenomenal trade major foresight and a bit of luck.

I love him getting teamed up with Zucc on the ice. They just have looked awesome together combining for 14 points in seven games.

Brass (9) alone has more points than Nash (2), Cally (3) and Richards (1) combined.

They were on separate lines and held scoreless in game 1 & 2. After they were put together for game 3 they have scored 14p in 5gp.

Zuke to Brass and Brass to Zuke. Instant chemistry between them and it's a joy to watch. Both see the ice so well, both have an awesome pass and think the same way, so they find eachother for open spots.

It's crazy what happens when players have high hockey IQ's and skill. They can find eachother on the ice.

He has been great, but he will need to continue to be great in this next series.

All assists being primary ones is making those 9 points in 7 games even more impressive. He really has been our key player offensively. Hopefully he can keep it up and maybe, just maybe, someone of Nash, Richards and Callahan can help him. Then we have a decent chance to advance.

Brassard is flashing his high-end potential right now in a big way. He was huge for Columbus before he suffered that injury a few years back, never quite managed to pick up from where he left off. Great to see him thrive.

He is making the stars look like rookies. What a delight to watch that man move the puck around.

He and Zucc have great chemistry. Not sure Nash fits on that line, but can't complain with how well they're doing as a unit. Hopefully this is the return of the Brassard we saw in Columbus before he was injured. Incredibly talented player.

Clowe-Brassard-Zuccarello
Hagelin-Stepan-Nash
Dorsett-Boyle-Callahan
Kreider-Richards-Asham

I think that is a very balanced lineup. Clowe would be interesting to see with Zucc and Brassard. Zucc and Clowe did look pretty good together the few times they were on the same line IMO.

Don't know who to sit but it wouldn't be Pyatt

Sure.

Me and schabadoo made this bet:

Avatar bet? I the Rangers win a playoff series, you pick an avatar for me to have for 3 months, they win 2, pick one for 6 total months, another 9 total and full year if they win the cup. If the Rangers lose, you sport an avatar of my choice for 3 months.

I have reviewed and approved Schabadoo bet. It is in place.

I'm on my way to slowly taking over the boards....

Commissioner Callagraves, I'd like to call attention to this bet, as the Rangers did indeed win a playoff series. I've contacted Kershaw, who now wants to put the bet off until summer.

I await your counsel.

From now on, I will call him "Classard". This guy is amazing and his chemistry with Zucc really brings so much to our attack
