Bernier just had knee surgery (but ... it was successful)

Clarkson, David's up coming Salaries $5,250,000, $5,250,000, $5,250,000, $5,250,000 , $5,250,000, $5,250,000, $5,250,000 ...

Got any stats / facts that make you :shakehead:shakehead. away !

Well, from this season alone

Corsi of 44%
Outshot by an average of 10 each game
Allowed significantly more goals against (GAA) than BUFFALO this season
Allow 37shots against this season, worst in the league

and ofcourse, my favourite, haven't won a cup since 1967

OK. Ur very good at this.

:cry::cry::cry:

the leafs have never won more than two playoff rounds in a given season.

they share that dubious statistic with just two teams - the blues (surprised) and phoenix.

Not that crazy of a stat, we made the conference finals twice in the early 00's and once or twice in the 90's which I would be proud if my team could do that. Obviously you want to win the cup though.

I just want Playoff leaf hockey

In the last 9 seasons, the leafs have finished bottom seven in the league on the PK in 8 of them.

If you look only at the last 8, we've finished bottom four in 7.

Despite only making the playoffs once in the last nine years, The Leafs have only two players on the roster that they have drafted in the top ten. Neither of which were top three picks.

Both of these stats aren't completely accurate obviously. Two top ten picks, including second overall were traded for Kessel a 5th overall. Luke Schenn our 5th overall was traded fit JVR, Philly's 2nd overall.

The Leafs won everyone one of their cups with winning two rounds in the playoffs.
You may be forgetting that before 1967, 2 rounds of playoffs is all there was.

As much as we love our glory years, winning a cup today is a much more difficult task.

lol I think that epitomizes being a leafs fan pretty well

They went to the conference finals (final 4) in 93, 94 and 02. That stat is a little misleading. Winning more than 2 rounds means you're going to the finals, which most teams haven't done.

We're a cap team and we've made the playoffs once in the last 9 years, and that time was in a shortened season.

Boggles the mind.

With $34M dedicated to 6 players (Kessel, Phaneuf, Lupul, Bozak, JVR and Clarkson) over the next 4 seasons, the Leafs look cap-locked.

Fortunately only one of those isn't a good player.

also some teams in Ontario don't have an internal cap.
