No, I'll have her ask her recruiter about it.
Yeah, you might want to. They're looking, and they definitely have some of the nicer health benefits you can get in the area.

She's not necessarily looking though. The position at the current place was brought up to her and the position at her old place was because her old boss keeps begging her to come back (though she'd be working for HIS boss with that position) and they just had lunch the other day.Yeah, you might want to. I love my new job. I love being in ~5 places every week and not having a supervisor on site to watch over my shoulder. It's so completely different from my last job, and it's weird to not dread going to work every day. The only drawback is that the pay is crap, so this job has a limited shelf life.
Sounds like an IT place I worked at about 9 years ago. Always on the road at different clients, but got paid crap.
Almost seven years now out of college in the same positio because my company has very few chances for advancement
Been looking to get out for over a year now because I simply cannot afford to keep working here.
At least I am in 5 set places every week, so there is that stability (unless I have to go to court). But it's social work, so the pay is never going to be great. It just sucks that I have the student loan debt of a surgeon. I might try and get into a federal position after this. I would be stuck for a couple years in some random hole in the county, but the pay would be great.
Good luck if you go that route. Sounds like IT in many ways; you have to grind through some time making peanuts to get the resume you need to get a decent job later.
Hope it works out for you!
One might say the owner is cheap!
That's the issue with my boss, he'll skimp on his business just to acquire more toys. On top of that, he's a lousy micro-manager that has to have his input into every little decision.

You better quit.
I hear the fringe benefits are fantastic though.
Is their anyway I can change my name? or change back to 1972?
I regreted "Darcy Regier" the second I clicked save changes
You mean besides waiting one calendar year? I don't think so. There seems to be a lot of impulsive name changes, and then it turns to regret

My favorite was a guy in the lounge who changed his name to "usernam". Spelled exactly that way. It made for an epic thread.

suggest shortening up the meeting so your whole team gets 5-ish man-hours of work time back per week.
And having been just given a year-end review by someone who was my "manager" for five weeks and who has tried to fire me in the past, I understand the basis of having a terrible manager to deal with.
Been there.
It sucks.
Get moving before you get tagged as "not a team player" like I was for being overly realistic.
so wait wait wait, for every deploy/reinstall, you have to wait for her to come over and sign in.
That's not micromanaging, that's sheer incompetence.
