I seriously question MacK's durability and ability to go deep with his team, after getting decked heavily more than once this year.

Hes basically been the best player to ever play in the first round of every playoff series hes played in and then goes to being lukewarm in the 2nd.

JT Miller will cost a hell of a lot more than just a 1st. Copp can be re-signed if the Rangers believe he is the answer at 2C.

I know that. I was saying that I would rather trade a 1st for a player signed beyond this year. I would not trade a 1st for an UFA unless that said player is resigned. Not a fan of Copp at all. Overrated.

not saying they should stop building through the draft... the post i replied to read, like we have "get used to this idea", when in fact it's been a reality here for the past 5 yrs.

Just because we've done that, doesn't mean you can't make some fixes through trades... NYR management have made some mistakes along the way.

Nah they always start their own show at noon. Usually the TSN feed is on from 9-12 or something then they switch over to the NHLN panel.

Unless the Rangers pay a 3rd team to retain, but I don't see that happening. Gourde at 50% was always unlikely. Few teams would be willing to retain for 3 years and it would drive the price up by a lot.
