I think their current roster is better than any of the LA ones that Sutter had that won.

Kopitar-Doughty-Quick was pretty spectacular at their peak. Calgary looks really good, but their Defense and Goaltending are a notch below the kings of that era.

Those LA teams were always average over large samples. Sutter knows how to break playoff hockey.

I don't think its much of a secret.

Teams that know how to choke out the NZ and own the walls will always do well in the playoffs so long as you have solid forward depth to pop in the occasional goal.

If you can do the above and you have strong forward depth, you're a contender. Sutter's teams can usually out grind the teams that want to play that game and completely snuff out the teams that try to rush you to death. Calgary would do evil, unforgivable things to Colorado over a 7 game set.

I just watch NHL network. TSN is probably ultra-focused on the Canadian teams anyway.

Depends on how mean Mackinnon and Landeskog want to get. It's all fun and games until a teams best players become constantly dirty, knowing officials wont penalize a star 3 or 4 times in a match. They just won't.
