Top3 forward from that draft perhaps? At least right now. Jarvis and Lundell are close though.

Devils did well with this draft, Holtz is still a questionmark but Mercer looks legit and Mukhamadullin was used to acquire Meier.

A bit of offtopic, but is it #1 Stutzle #2 Sanderson? What a jackpot draft for Ottawa as well.

I'd argue Mercer is better than Sanderson. 28 points in his last 28 games without PP1 icetime and absolute dominant possession wise and looks to be an elite PKer in the making.

The post you refuted saying Sanderson said ‘in points’.

“he is third from that draft in points behind Stuz and Raymond?”

odd to compare point production between wing and d-man. i know you are an ottawa player, but scoring less is in no way an argument against sanderson.
It’s not odd when the metric is scoring production.

Do you want me to give Sanderson 2 points for every point Mercer scores?

It’s like saying McDavid isn’t leading the league in scoring this year because Karlsson is a defensemen.

Just curious, I love Sanderson but what has he done this year that has been above Drysdale’s season last year to the point that we are able to rank him second?

1. Stützle
2. Mercer
3/4. Sanderson/Drysdale
3/4. Sanderson/Drysdale
Lundell, Quinn, Perfetti

Raymond doesn’t drive enough play for me, but that’s my top three as of right now.

Someone needs to read the post a little more thoroughly ( Ie it refers strictly to point production/not redraft value )

Lol, so the guy who has 1 more point in 7 less career games than Mercer (and is 5 months younger) doesnt even make your top 7 there....interesting. Bold move Cotton, let's see how that looks in another year or two.

Mercer is certainly helping my fantasy team down the stretch here, so good for him

Raymond has been stapled to your top line and pp1 since he’s entered the league. Mercer has gotten middle 6 deployment and little pp1 time. Not to mention he’s better at the little things

Hmm, maybe because Raymond fit there? You know, due to his extremely high hockey IQ. I'm not going to pretend that Raymond hasnt had his struggles this year, but he absolutely pulled his weight last year and I come in here to find people dogging him as if he isnt the 2nd highest scorer from that class. To have not 1, or 2, but 7 guys listed ahead of him is simply ridiculous.

I’ll take Timmy, Sanderson, Drysdale and Mercer ahead of him.

Mercer will outpace him by the end of the season.

Going forward I’ll throw him in the mix with Lundell, Quinn, Perfetti & Jarvis. Let’s not pretend like going forward putting him alongside these players as players that are all options after 4 is a slight to him.

Too many nights where he looks pedestrian. But he’s young and will put it together.

If the draft was re-done right now and you think he will go 2nd overall just because he is second in points, idk what to tel u

Maybe not 2nd, but I would bet he's top 3 when it's all said and done. He definitely needs to hit the weights this offseason.

I misunderstood what you meant.

I do as well believe he will have a top three career from this draft class.

His iq will have him being effective on the other side of 30.

He’s very clearly a better overall player than Raymond.
