Reinbacher is more NHL ready than Mailloux.
I disagree, Mailloux is ahead of him at this moment.Reinbacher is more NHL ready than Mailloux.

Yeah it's debatable. But Mailloux will struggle defensively in the NHL, at the beginning.I disagree, Mailloux is ahead of him at this moment.
I'm not so sure about that, I think he's going to surprise many of us in the next 2 weeks. No - Reinbacher can defend at an NHL level, Mailloux can't yet.
I really hope so. I have big hopes Mailloux can become a potent no.4 D in the league if he can be steadier in his own zone. But imo, he, with Xhekaj, will give us a unicorn bottom pair D for many years.I'm not so sure about that, I think he's going to surprise many of us in the next 2 weeks.
Do you think Slaf was rushed at all?
That hasn't changed since his days in London it was one of the very first things I noticed about him.I disagree - Mailloux looks like he's trying to do calculus in his own zone.
Mailloux has the Media behind him so there is that.Yeah it's debatable. But Mailloux will struggle defensively in the NHL, at the beginning.
And i think he will make the roster before Reinbacher because of the situation in which the team actually is but Reinbacher would do a better job defensively.
By what metric? He had a pretty good season last year as a 19-20 year old and signed a contract as a franchise cornerstone and is now a first line player.there's no question. Of course he was.
Luckily it's 2024 and we have a real hockey front office trying to build a long-term winner and not appease the media. Bergevin was let go almost 3 years ago now you know.Mailloux has the Media behind him so there is that.
So is the “Reinbacher is 6’4”” crowd going to acknowledge he’s listed at 6’2 per the latest Habs measurements?

They have him at 6'3" on the release that I saw?
Keep in mind that players have the final say about these releases.
