There was some speculation here that he might have grown a bit purely from watching his olympics pre qualifers, but nothing official as far as I know. Best guess would be 6'4 though, not 6'5. We should find out soon enough at camp.
Gotta line him up back to back with the 6'5" Patrik Laine for the true tale of the tape.

And Hutson doesn't have an ounce of Reinbachers physical tools or defensive game.

What's the price of gas got to do with onions?
In a perfect world they end up complimenting each other like many have speculated on since Dev. camp last year.
Looking forward to seeing what he can do in the prospects games as he'll likely be paired with the young David.

He saved Engstrom' behind quite a few times, especially in the first. Needs to work on his processing speed offensively though, he gets himself in situations with no space or options.
Yup Adam put him on the spot a number of times.
I'd actually switch up the pairings tomorrow to see what that ends up looking like.

Genuinely impressed with the back skating power he showed a couple times when I was able to watch in the 2nd. From the Leafs blue line all the way back he just kept accelerating and maintaining a perfect gap. Can only imagine where that kind of strength can go in a fully grown man :eek3:

I was thinking the same on a few plays, he’s going to be incredibly difficult to get through. I think him and Guhle could end up being one of best shutdown duos in league one day. Not saying it’s the pairing they end up going with but you’ll see them on the PK and defending leads in the playoffs

Don't overreact just yet, I thought he looked great a couple weeks ago vs Team Slovakia, I was impressed and that's coming from someone that just has not been overly impressed at all with him.

I said let him go to Laval this year and work on things, give it time as he's got the size, mobility, two way game, so it's just a question of how can he put it all together.

watching him today makes me realize what an absolute disaster it was to pick him over Michkov

He isnt a bad player but getting that as the value at 5th overall is pathetic.

So after Reinbacher got drafted he was the next Pronger and the #2 after Bedard meanwhile Michkov was an unmotivated bum that would never come to North America. But tonight picking him over Michkov was a disaster and he was horrible value at #5 huh? What made you change your mind? Couldn’t possibly be 1 rookie game right?
