I do agree with the recent precautions though and that they don't mean much long term....hell I injured my knee last year and it was just bad swelling and it was sensitive until recently.

Watched the rocket game on the flight back to Toronto. Reinbacher is so engaged everywhere. I could definitely see him with Guhle next year in the top 4.

I get the comparison people see with Pietrangelo but to me he is a way more agressive/physical than Alex but less offensive and shifty

Yeah pretty much. A less offensive but a slightly better defensive and physical player than Pietro.

I feel like playing this year in Laval even if it's only been 11 games has elevated his game A TON. I've been one of his biggest supporters since the draft, I thought he'd be a #2 D but with the improvements in his offence and puck moving, I think he's gonna be a #1 defenseman in 2 years.

Here is to hoping that Laval plays several hard playoff rounds and Reinbacher plays every game. This will make up for lost development time, same with Mailloux.

Just because he won't be a 80 point D in the league doesn't mean he can't be a difference maker. He's trending to be a bigger version of Toews in Colorado. Every contender needs a Reinbacher - Just like every contender needs a Hutson. Different player, different purpose, same value to a team.

Had he not been injured I am convinced he would be a top 6 D, if not top 4. Fans who are still grumbling about the Habs drafting him have clearly not see him play in Laval. He is too good for the AHL.

Xhekaj looks so good. The passing is very good just like in Brantford.

I honestly think he could be a top 6 C. Not 100% but his development curve has been wild. Not fancy but very effective
