Savard is our worst dman this year even Struble is better. If KH brings him back he has lost his mind imo. I's offer him a job in management after he retires to keep him around. Not sure which games people are watching but Savard is carrying his fridge on his back along with the whole kitchen. At his age it wont improve.

I'm starting to believe Reinbacher never really existed to begin with and this all just one of them mass hallucination thing we all had at the same time :huh:

Would like to see them keep him on as a coach or a scout or something like that.......he seems very genuine about loving it in Montreal!

If we want to compete for real we must find a top 4 RHD and accept that Matheson and Savard are not a good fit even if they are local player.

Hutson-top 4 two way RHD with experience
Guhle-Carrier
Xhekaj-DR
Struble

Xhekaj can't play with Savard not anymore it's a disaster waiting to happen.

If we are serious about competing KH must find a 2nd line center and top 4 RHD.

Totally with you, they need another top 4 D and a 2C to be serious for a playoff spot. With Demidov and potentially Dach on the wing, we should be ok for the top 6

I saw a hologram in a museum when i was young. It was a clown dancing. From what i can remember it looked like the clown was really there in 3d. The technology surely has improved a lot since the 80ies right? Could be used to fake Reinbacher's presence on the ice.

When Guhle is back, I expect MSL to first go with Savard, then a rotation with Xhekaj, and then we'll see who wins out.

Long term, it will be interesting to see if Xhekaj can hold down that bottom pair LD spot. Have to see him with a better partner...

Have to see if Matheson can keep up his recent level of play to see if he can be part of the long term solution... He seems to have simplified his game... We'll see when or if Reinbacher or an outside addition can supplant him from the top 4....

HuGo may decide to use one of our D with trade value to try and get a 1a/1b 2c... If a Suzuki level center is available, I could see HuGo giving up Guhle or Reinbacher to get him, but not Hutson.
 
Fingers crossed there's no more health hiccups between now and the end of the playoffs.

It sucks he missed so much time, but I'd much rather him miss the start of the season over missing the back end+a playoff run.
