I see this is where the DQ burners hang out, defending his personal honor like it’s their own. It’s so cute. You will all follow along the plank with your coveted Saint when his crew realizes there’s no gold at the end of the voyage. And I’m going to be oh so happy that day, the day 90% of this board is going to be able to say “I told you so.” Until then, count your blessings. Because we will not stop, ever, until David Clown is back doing balloon animals at BU.
“I’m not sure that literally everything every player does is actually the fault of the coach.”

“Oh, sure go ahead and follow your coveted saint down the plank looking for gold”

...ok

I think a lot of the reactions re Quinn have been over the top and dramatic.

but last night was the worst managed game I’ve seen from him. It was really really bad. It’s not that I expected a win with so many guys out, and I know shit guys will have to play in that game.

but the TOI management was poor. The decisions of who in what situation were poor. Just poor all around. You gotta shorten the bench in this game.

Brind'Amour seems to get the most out of his players. You can tell his players have deep respect for him and buy into everything he asks of them.
I'm praying for a miracle. That he leaves Carolina looking for a big pay day... ( as unlikely as it might be )

He still hasn't been signed. Teams like Carolina may be having cash issues... There's still a chance/hope.

I would say he fizzled out with the Bruins and again I'm not going to judge his time in Montreal too much. His coaching record looks a lot like Barry Trotz's.

It's not that big of a deal if the Rangers don't hire him but I would be happy if they did. When he was fired he instantly became one of the best coaching candidates available.
Fine, but it was a lot of time in Montreal. And Championship level should imply something better than 1 first round win in 8 years.

He has no clue. And he’s proving it every single game.

For sure there are things to lay at his plate. Slow start, Brod-friggin'- zinski playing almost 10 minutes. The personnel deployed then they pulled the goalie. All legit criticism. That is when the flak that he gets is legit.

The lack of discipline with stuff like stupid penalties doesn't bother me too much. The lack of production from the top prospects is a much bigger deal but I'm still capable of hearing out arguments that don't put it all on the coach.

But the first minute/last minute stuff...man. They were like crashing into each other to start out yesterday's game, it was awful. And that wasn't with Johnny Brodzinski and Libor Hajek out there.

The delay of game by shooting over the boards is not really him. Hard to absolve too many men on the ice.
