72 points in 59 games is pretty wild considering what little help he has and how inconsistent this season has been from the start. I'm not sure there is a more valuable winger in the league, most players have to be centers or goalies to have the level of solo impact Pasta has.

I thought he deserved a lot of cricitism for his play around that time. Wasn't very good. Was reading posts after the Columbus 5-1 loss that got Monty his wish
The hate for Pastrnak was wild
Now after Sacco puts him with Zacha & Geekie for 39 games ~ 22 goals 33 assists prorated 116 points 82 Games
Everyone loves him![]()
Reading thru nasty & a bit personal but hey times we live inI thought he deserved a lot of cricitism for his play around that time. Wasn't very good.
Play bad, and you'll hear the criticism. Play good, and you'll hear the love. Seems pretty simple to me.
He's been unreal good the last 2 months. Deserves all the praise he's getting.
Lindholm been better - he had several nice setups last nightPastrnak has been "the guy" for a few seasons now and it's not even remotely close for the Bruins.
2022-23 - 46 points more than the second leading scorer
2023-24 - 43 points more than the second leading scorer
2024-25 - 25 points more than the second leading scorer (59 games in)
I pegged Lindholm to be the second leading scorer this year, boy was I wrong.
Disagree, having Zacha covers for him defensively, but I will agree those goal scores, points getters, have had better supporting cast all around, and the slow start has hurt Pastas numbers somewhat, but overall, the man has shown up in the positive this season. ........... DONNIE, CAM GET HIM SOME HELP!!!! do you hear me. .....Don't waste a great player. After the slow start he's now 6th in points and goals in the league.
He's also only 3 goals out of 2nd (Nylander with 33) and 1 point out of 4th (McDavid with 73). And turning in yet another season where he's going to have 50% more goals/points than #2 on the team.
I'll argue no other player who consistently is top 5 in goals and points plays with a center close to as bad as what Pastrnak has to drag around the ice
this place ought to be called the Fish BowlDisagree, having Zacha covers for him defensively, but I will agree those goal scores, points getters, have had better supporting cast all around, and the slow start has hurt Pastas numbers somewhat, but overall, the man has shown up in the positive this season. ........... You know what bothers me about your post, is that you are serious and really believe it. Hey, were ever not in your twenties, single, money in your pocket, doing stupid things, I was and did, maybe you didn't, you were a good boy..............They lost for other reasons, I don't have the time to list.this place ought to be called the Fish Bowl
The memory of many might be 24 hours
Pastrnak showed up around 2015 and since then they have had the most points, been to the 7th game of Finals in 2019, won Prez Trophy in 2020 and got derailed by Covid & their Vezina caliber goalie opted out of the bubble sham, and 2022-23 shattered the single season point record before Coach Monty Rickles up 3-1 decided he wanted to be part of the team
Pasta, did I tell you I love him?, F’d up a cruise to the 2019 Cup by breaking his thumb or hand falling off a curb (ahem) after a team sponsor event and played well below his capability (it’s all available for those who want to read what we all thought in real time)
As for 2022-23 they went all in to win - Sweeney & Neely went all out and the bill came due
So Cam & Donnie got some help
This place is already swimming with clown fish
They haven’t wasted a great player - actually a great player got wasted and likely cost the Bruins a layup Cup
I’m 100 % correctYou know what bothers me about your post, is that you are serious and really believe it. Yeah but could you imagine what we could get by trading him? We might even be able to get a guy like Pastrnak if we are lucky! It is insane to me that fans acknowledge that this team doesn't have talent, but want to get rid of a player as successful as Pastrnak who puts up numbers regardless of playing alongside a subpar forward-corps.
