I hope he is not jeapordizing his season by playing injured in October and November. That is irresponsible on both himself and the team. This happened once before with Pasta, when he has a foot injury and they finally figured out he had a hairline fracture. So much wasted healing time.

They should have also learned from playing Tuukka that one year in the playoffs when he could not move side to side but they let Ullmark play injured too a few years ago. Or not resting Bergy, Ullmark and Krech before the playoffs, they all got hurt at the wrong time. I know Bergy wanted to play in front of his father one last time but guys like Pezzetta are there to make a name for themselves.

Its way too early to risk Pasta, let him heal, if he is even hurt, which there is no evidence. I dont see him grimacing or sitting out practices, I see frustration and a tentitive player that has slowed his game down. He is risking further damage, not a great way to protect your prized investment before 20 games.

I think Lindholm broke his foot a month before the post season that year, too. They didn't rest him at all and he looked like complete dogshit in the first round against the Panthers.

He’s a giveaway machine. Truly playing lazy, careless hockey out there IMO.
mackinnon have more giveway than pasta and makar is very close, thoses 2 lazy careless players should be banned of nhl forever….any team would want them

Safe to say that if Pasta was leading the league in scoring, like MacKinnon is, no one would be complaining.

Also, not sure why you equate giveaways with laziness. No one thinks either MacKinnon or Makar are lazy players.

He has always been a turnover machine. But he scored 60 goals so it was fine. This is who he is. He's not going to carry the 2way load for the team.

I can live with #88 turnovers and lack if real 2 way play. I can't deal with his rank
stupidity passing up extremely HDSC for much lower scoring chances which he makes passes and has done repeatedly the last couple of games. He has done this throughout his career but it seems more so this year. If he continues this he is going to increase the chance of them DNQ.

The thing that makes it most infuriating is the Bruins are not a team that generates a lot of high quality scoring chances. We work so hard to get them only to have them frittered away by somebody in the slot with a great shot at the net passing to somebody with a much worse chance of scoring. Same with shots from the point. You have a clear lane to the net for a shot take it. They all don’t have to be pretty.

Though that rarely happens in today's game.

Up 2-1, alone in the slot, nobody between the puck and the goalie, dead center, puck on his forehand

f***ing drop pass into traffic

If he’s not nursing two severely banged up wrists then I give up.

Not excusing it exactly, Just saying his passion level for hockey may be diminished
Maybe his off season training and training habit are questionable.....

But one thing is sure, 88 is gifted which can't be learned or bought, he also love the game of hockey. He has always been a turnover machine, but playing for a long stretch with 2 of the best 200ft centre help much more than what he is currently playing with.
