So glad to see he's confident and creative again. That play on the Marchand goal was absolutely stunning. He's matured so much in so little time. 63-37-88 is such an amazing line... Each of them can play many roles. All of them have scored at least 30 goals (Pasta will this season *knock knock*), all three are terrific playmakers, 63 and 37 are the best shutdown duo in the league.... The sky is the limit for Pasta, and he has two elite linemates to help him out.

His playmaking is REALLY underrated, especially after he was like 70% of our goal scoring to start the year. He's just as good of a passer as he is a goal scorer, and it's awesome to see two guys in Bergy and Marchand who will finish more often than not on his line. Same goes for Bergy and Marshy, both are excellent playmakers as well. I would love to see him go on a goal scoring tear again, but that line is just dominant in every sense of the word.

He's so good now... Insane to imagine what he might be in 3-5 years. So exciting to have another guy who's so fun to watch grow again. Attitude and work ethic is all there, too. Complete package.

Just think of the value this guy has now on the trade market.

Let's trade him and Tuukka for Luongo. Someone's got to pump the rest of the team's tires during the playoff race.

Fantastic post, couldn't agree more! I would really love them to find a great RW to get on DK's side though so he could go back with 63-37 full time again. I just feel like he fits so much better there then Backes.

He's creating the hardest decision for me. Do I get a Marchy jersey or a Pasta one.....

This is his coming out party.

He's already one of the top-wingers in the league and has room to grow/improve.

Let's go Don. Give this guy a 8y deal and enjoy the run.

48M/8y.

stud

the guy is getting so strong on his skates now. He's a beast out there

Add so many chances yesterday. Was a little off on his one-timer on the PP missing the net wide every time.

He's already a star and a top winger and will keep on improving playing with mentors like Bergy, Krejci, Marchand and Chara.

Always smiling and competing.

Extend this guy forever. Would 48M/8y be enough?

What a play with the deke and the one-handed shovel toward the net as he's being taken down that Marchand tapped in for the Bruins' only goal last night.

Should've locked up this gem already, hope it doesn't bite us. Guess what, he's still not even 21! :handclap:

Late to the discussion, but Pasternak could be the best forward we've had since Neely. I am a huge Neely fan, but Pasta could be better. Amazing. Pay him.

Neely was scoring 50 in 50 while being a terrifying physical force to play against.

Pasta will never be physical.. if he develops hossa defensive responibility or strings together a 500 goal career we might start arguing he's as good as Neely

For now let's be happy appreciating what we got. He is toying with 40 goal pace... plugging along close to a point per game... and he should only get better

A he'll of a pick... developed by claude... Its good

But on the flip side I see our fans turn on our kids. If pastrnak slumps in the next couple years I fear how this could go south. Let's hope he keeps scoring for everyone's sake and hope his contract is fair to everyone too

Pasta may not be the brute force on ice that Neely was, but he's got plenty of grit and sandpaper in his game. Look no further than last night's game for proof of that; the kid is more than willing to do his fair share of ditch digging to win games. I don't know how he was like before joining the Bruins, but watching Marchand and Bergeron do whatever it takes to win a game most likely make Pasta take notice. I think Kirk touched on this very topic of " paying it forward "... Bergeron saw first hand the lengths Mark Recchi took to just be able to suit up for a playoff game, and now he sets an example for the current young players in hopes they follow and will eventually teach future generations of Bruins what real toughness is about.
