Kypreos says no matter what Anselmi says or what you heard, this has a lot to do with Luongo. They are still in the hunt for him.
Why do you keep saying this. If this is true t would had happened. Burke had ample time to do the deal with Van to overpay for Toronto. A more likely scenario would be that Burke was unwilling to overpay, whiled management wanted to get it done at all cost, thus being fired to facilitated that by promoting they guy who has previously traded for Luongo.Luongo got Burke fired.
