I could see Cameron getting a offer from the 67s.

There's probably at least 45 worse coaches in the CHL than Cameron. If he gets a CHL job next year, he's easily in the top 10-15 junior coaches in the country.

He is a terrible (terrible, terrible) NHL head coach, but his style is tailor made for Major Junior.

Uh no. Jeff Brown has done quite well with the 67s. No reason for him to be going anywhere with 67s setting up to contend for a title in 2018.

There are some that have a sense he might want the gm role in the near future bring dave in now on a lesser role.

I'd rather Cameron leave Ottawa and never come back. The 67s have a very strong tradition of developing great NHLers and Cameron's history in that department is absolutely terrible. I don't want him poisoning the well here. They can find someone else.

Let Super Dave go to Charlottetown (once Chlapik has left please).

I'd like to say this is surprising but I knew what his performance was going to be like the minute he got promoted.

If anything, I'm surprised that Melynk had the cajones to can his bestie. Maybe this is a sign of good things to come.

Also, doing so before Julien is shown the door is probably a good sign that they have their ears to the ground and know that they'll be able to woo him if he's made available.

I heard rumblings of possible nhl coaching position for Richardson last year from an extremely reliable source but wanted to stay near his daughter.

I can't say who it is but could tell a mod if challenged.

This isn't really news. I had heard that Tim Murray wanted him last year before he went after Bylsma but Richardson had indicated that he wanted to stay close to his daughter while she finished university.

So that begs the question, does Icelevel stump for Richardson to take over as HC since he's already "Tim Murray-Approved"?

Hey Cameron to Charlottetown would be beautiful coming from this Islanders fan. He has proven he can win at this level. And i think he would do wonders for Chlapik for the record
