The lack of stability is irrelevant to me since Davis keeps making bad hires. Mackenzie ran six drafts for them so plenty of stability there, he just sucked at his job. Davis was very committed to Gruden hence the 10 year deal but Goodall put an end to that which was a good thing for the Raiders considering they were never going to win anything with Gruden/Mayock. They weren't ever going to win anything with Ziegler/McDaniel's either. Why they were ever hired in the first place is the baffling part. Davis is most definitely an idiot but stability is only necessary if he actually makes a good hire. I doubt Telesco works out either considering he already spent 10 years running the Chargers and didn't even win a playoff game.
Can't achieve stability when you hire bad management. All of that falls on Mark. Whatever process he uses to decide on his hires has not worked at all. Year 14 now since Al passed and Mark took over. 2 PO appearances in their only 2 winning seasons in the past 13 years.

Can't say I'm high on Telesco either. Like you said, Chargers had talent, but didn't achieve anything under his guidance.

Unfortunately, I don't believe some other billionaire can come in and buy out the other partners to obtain a 51% stake in the team and can control of the operations. Probably something in writing that keeps the decision making of the team under the Davis family.

stay away from the jets!! their offensive line is still ass. rodgers could wind up requiring hospitalization within the next 4-5 games.

i don't know if adams going to the redskins is the difference for making a nice playoff run but that offense can wind up to be electrifying to watch. like watching a video game.

Really depends on what Adams mindset is. Is he most concerned about the remainder of this season? If so, then playing with someone he has a rapport with would make for the smoothest transition and allow him to get quickly integrated into the offense.

If he’s thinking overall til the end of his career and considers 2025 & 2026 then he can open up his destinations.

But who knows. Does feel like he should have just asked out after last season.

Raiders have a good opportunity to take advantage of the Jets possible desperation here. The leaks about Adams being willing to play for the bunch of other teams (if true) helps their cause as well. Rodgers is basically running that team and then on top of that you have Douglas and Saleh who might be just as desperate for it as him.

Who really knows which clubs Adams will want to go to. Even without a NTC, teams don't want to deal for someone who will not be happy to be there.

But, the Jets WR do not appear to be on the same page as Rodgers. That is concerning. So giving him his go to guy would help, but that OL is still an issue. With their history, Adams will be up to speed very fast, vs adding another WR would be.

Rodgers has how many years left? This year and 2025? So, they may decide that they have to push their chips in and go for with while they have a QB.

Hit rate of 2nd rounders getting big deals with their drafted team is what? 50% or less over the last 3 drafts where guys were eligible to get new deals? 2019-2021 drafts for example.

do the ravens want to become the saints? they'd be incredibly stupid to trade for him given his contract

the o-line is a much bigger priority than upgrading at WR

Again, the future years of his contract are not guaranteed. So, it would be redone and he wouldn't be making $72 mill over the next 2 years. He will be 32 around Xmas and not getting the $30 odd mill that Jefferson got.

My best guess is a redone deal is about $50 mill in real money for 2025 and 2026. He got about $22.5 mill aav over the 3 years with LV (includes this season). This would be contract #4 for Adams. Outside of QB and OT, other positions are not going to get more and more when they get to contract 4.

May not be Baltimore. Poe lived in NY for a while and moved there specifically for better work opportunities.

I think there'd be a lot of images far more representative of NY/NJ than Edgar Allen Poe lol. The team is named after one of his works.

If Atlanta intends to pass as much as last night, they should try to pick him up.

Though their O Line is a mess and I'm pretty sure they haven't had a sack since 2017

Maybe he's just watching Fall of the House of Usher? It's October, and a damn fine show.

If not, is this the most poetic edgy tweet from a diva WR? Does the WR tweet meme need updating?

He also may very well have meant "Nevermore," rescinding his trade request.

Maybe he was invited over by a friend who he has wronged and has now been sealed behind a new brick wall and is trying to get help.

Wanting a 2nd and also being unwilling to eat any salary seems completely unreasonable.
Raiders are eating away $970K of cap space that they can rollover to 2025 for each week he's on the roster anyways. Giants ate $9 mill plus of the $10 mill left (at the TDL as he made $18 mill last season) on L. Williams contract last season to get a 2 and 5 from Seattle.

So, LV is going to have to decide what is more important. The draft pick in the late 50's vs one in the late 80's (2nd vs a 3rd) or the cap space that they can rollover into 2025. Adams would carry a $15.7 mill dead cap charge for them in 2025. Jimmy G, will count $12.8 mill in 2025 for them.

based on recent history, I have a hunch the Raiders will screw this up and get pennies on the dollar for Adams
Can't do both, get a bad return and eat up cap space that you can use towards 2025 to help offset some of his dead cap.

Either take a lower return to dump the remaining cap charges or get a higher return by retaining on the cash and cap charge.

This is why this situation with Adams should have been decided up in the off-season not at the quarter mark of the season. Either he was going to stick with the team throughout the year regardless or he had to get moved. Poor management. Telesco and Pierce should have made a decision. Either he's all in or he's not. If not fully in, move him.

It is the Raiders, they can do anything, before it is over they might end up sending a 2nd to the team getting him

It's Mark Davis at the helm. Have no confidence in him whatsoever. He really set the team back hiring the NE garbage.

His 2 former QBs, Carr is hurt and is out for multiple weeks. Currently, NO is 2-3. So, they host TB, host Den (short week), road to Chargers, road to Carolina before the TDL with Rattler at QB.
NYJ, just fired their HC, so that isn't a stable situation.

Unless Adams is looking to go to Balt, Buff, or heck KC or something, to play with a QB he hasn't before, he's got to open up his options.
