Without the Raiders chipping in financially he was never going to get to a real contender. The guys KC, Buffalo, Baltimore ultimately went after were all exceedingly cheap.

LV would have chipped in based on the return. Unless those clubs offered a straight 2nd with some retention, LV wasn't going to eat several million dollars of cap space which they could roll over into 2025.

Adams has 38 catches for 415 yards and 2 TDs. 7 games left for Adams to do well enough to push that 3rd into a 2nd. That's not going to happen. That 3rd is likely middle of the round, so like pick 80 give or take.
