I don't want him back but it is hard to believe there isn't a professional hockey team somewhere in the world that wouldn't want Paille .

There are easier leagues, such as the Finnish and Swedish leagues, where he could still play. But listen, you have to be able to separate the person from the player. Nobody has anything but nice things to say about DP as a person, and he should consider that a success. He played in the NHL for a few years, won a Stanley Cup, let's save the pity parade for someone else. Sooner or later, time catches up to everyone, and you have to move on for the good of the club.

Remember, the Boston Bruins are not any one person, and it changes every year. The community, the fans, the players, management, everything comes together to form this idea of what the Boston Bruins are, and the people who play for them. DP was part of that for a while, now it's someone else's turn.

You are correct . Up until last year I always claimed Paille was vastly underrated and a beautiful skater . It can be hard to move on but ,yes ,you are correct .

There are opportunities for 31 yr. old players who cannot land an NHL contract. The Swiss and German Leagues provide opportunities for former NHLers to show they still have the skills necessary to continue their careers.

I hope Danny's concussion history does not derail his desire to continue to play hockey.

He could definitely go to Europe. But he's going to the Hawks affiliate in Rockford. He might end up in Chicago later if they unload Bickell or if Bickell keeps having vertigo issues.

Would love a player like him back on the Bs as a 13th/14th forward but I KNOW Julien would play him every single game he can.

I feel like I should be laying on a couch and cutting you a check for $75 for this half hour session...
