Looks like he’s kept his momentum going. Currently sitting at 10pts over 16 games.
EliteProspects has him projected to score 40pts in 65 games.

40 points in the KHL? That's good enough to get benched!Looks like he’s kept his momentum going. Currently sitting at 10pts over 16 games.

Fantastic news. Really hoping we get a guy who can score 35-40 goals a year.3rd straight game with a goal and 6 goals total in 18 games. Another scoring threat in the top 6 would be huge
A Semin to Kaprizov's Ovechkin would be nice.Fantastic news. Really hoping we get a guy who can score 35-40 goals a year.

Let's not forget, Yurov was a consensus top 15 ranked prospect on draft day (on Bob McKenzie's list, he was 8th in prelim and midseason, 14th in final rankings). We just happened to pick him at #24.3rd straight game with a goal and 6 goals total in 18 games. Another scoring threat in the top 6 would be huge
Give it time and I’ll be putting him ahead of Wallstedt on the prospect rankings. Love Yurov3rd straight game with a goal and 6 goals total in 18 games. Another scoring threat in the top 6 would be huge
But how does he compare to Caufield?Give it time and I’ll be putting him ahead of Wallstedt on the prospect rankings. Love Yurov
Their skill levels are both superb. Way better than big plugs like BoldyBut how does he compare to Caufield?
As much as we all groan about the love for players like Foligno, a 3rd line focused on tenacity of Ohgren/Khusnutdinov-Hartman-Foligno and an energy skill line of Milne-Dewar/Gaudreau-Walker might be actually dangerous. When might Yurov be ready? 2 years? If somehow he was ready next year that would be fantastic for a lot of reasons.
I'm growing confidence in Rossi's projection as a 2nd C or at the very least a top 6 wing ala Granlund depending on how his defensive and faceoff skills continue to translate.
All of a sudden things might look okay with the following on the team over the next 4-6 years+:
-Kaprizov
-Boldy
-Ek
-Rossi
-Yurov
I feel somewhat confident in Gaudreau/Hartman/Foligno's roles as secondary players and as above-average 3rd liners should we ever be in a position where we can re-focus them in those roles.
Can you imagine if we had Yurov and Snuggerud coming up?
yes,yes i can i would probably be dancing on the ceiling! (not that anythings wrong with ohgren just snuggy would be better)Can you imagine if we had Yurov and Snuggerud coming up?
This would be how the Wild turn into a true contender.Sometimes I imagine
Kaprizov-Rossi-Yurov
Fiala-Ek-Boldy
Yeah, Yurov can maybe move in with him, and babysit Zucc's kids.Let's not forget, Yurov was a consensus top 15 ranked prospect on draft day (on Bob McKenzie's list, he was 8th in prelim and midseason, 14th in final rankings). We just happened to pick him at #24.
Excited to see if he'll develop into a player that can fit on our first line with our star winger ... Zuccarello.
Anywhere close is more than good, its outstanding, because Yurov brings some different elements to his game - size, center/wing versatality, two-way ability. In Kaprizov's D+2 year he scored 42 points in 49 games. Yurov would be on pace for 34 in 49 games, but he's also paced over a point per game the last 8 games so maybe he'll catch up a bit.
