And just as easily you can say that someone with Bryan's desire to wrestle will look for any doctor who will clear him so he can wrestle.

Anyway, getting the most up to date approved tests is one thing, getting the cutting edge in development ones is a very very very different thing.

No I don't. I've never said anything to make you think that.

Now I'm confused

It's obviously not a work. They are advertising it because it will do insane ratings. I don't see why he would need a new contract to be a commentator or some other non-wrestling on screen character. Did Mick Foley get a different contract when he became commissioner? Makes no sense. And I don't see how it'd be legal to "freeze" his contract indefinitely and effectively turn him into an indentured servant. There are laws against **** like that.

He can take them to court to fight the independent contractor label if he wanted to. His contract likely included a clause that stated if he missed a cretain amount of time his contract would freeze.

I think Bryan might be going the loyal company man route here, and maybe hoping something changes tech wise in a year or two .

I agree with what others are saying if he is retiring put him in the hall this year. Knowing wwe they will wait 20 years or something though.

Question is if he can get out without suing them, and if he would go that route.

If he retires, he's walking away from the downside money. They can't hold him to a contract that he's not benefiting from anymore at that point. They'd have to come to some other arrangement to wrap any loose ends at that point.

i will be listening closely to his wording
retiring from wwe is a big difference than retiring from wrestling, and never wrestling again

This is making me misty now because it was so real. HHH is legit just saying what Vince thought of Bryan the entire time, and it was his determination and the fans love of him (not the chant of HIM) that forced them to change everything.

I'm really sad now. His WM30 moment was like being a kid again. A reminder of why I love this crap.
