Won’t get sappy but I’ve said before that I’m 25 years old and joined these boards at 16... I’ve known you guys well over a third of my life and that’s a strange but very nice thing and I enjoy y’all. You’re definitely the reason I’m still a die-hard fan after having left the state for college.

And, after those 9 years spending a lot of time with you guys, I’m excited and hopeful to see what a playoff GDT looks like.

Being a fan from outside the area I don’t exactly have many people to talk to about the canes. Friends will only tolerate so much canes talk

Well said Robo. I’ve had a few of the worst years of my life while around here and have definitely used it for therapy, even if it’s “abuse other fan bases” therapy. This last year has been one of the toughest, I’m glad I have this around and all of y’all.

I'm not going to steal the surge of OP. He has all right to being loved and no alcohol in the world will be enough to take that away from him.

That said, ever since got invested (you know, a foreigner, "a bit" Aho bias), all of the sudden the teams was my favorite. I love some other teams, but I can't really deny that when the team is on, it's so entertaining to watch. And I love the fans, but this has been seen in this thread already. It's just so refreshing. They play such entertaining game. I sure know teams that are what you call effective, but there's something beautiful in this team. And the surge, I'm mean, what's not to like. The whole fanbase and players are doing a beautiful job.

That being said... hope we go faaaaaar. And I lik... naaah, I love the fanbase. Keep on keeping on you beautiful people. You can even be "ugly" to be beautiful!
