Keep putting the same trash PP unit out there over and over. Let Matthews and Marner be largely trash together all season long and never even consider splitting them.

The game isn't over. Squeak out a win against a tough team and be happy. Even a point is a start. Dallas is very strong defensively.

Leafs cannot afford to try and go into the playoffs when they go dry and believe they will win games 6-5. It needs to be defense first, hard, heavy, north/south.

Win one single Cup and then play shinny for the next three years and everyone in Toronto will be pleased even if they don't make the playoffs. THey need to understand what it takes to grind out and earn your points.

The fix seems so simple. Nylander is struggling, M&M has gone stale. Switch Mitch and Willy to shake up the lines and hopefully Matthews reinvigorates Nylander.

This seems so obvious, and I'm not sure what the downside to trying it would even be.

Where have you been? They've been trying to win game 1-0 in the playoffs for years and they simply aren't built that way. Oilers went to game 7 of the finals playing a stretch pass rush system... The kind Babcock was running when the team was young and not good enough to win
