I don't think that's really true tbh, at least not all the time.Rule should be changed to match the famous dropped food rule... After a certain amount of time (say 15 seconds play), the fact the zone entry may have been infinitesimally offside has precious little to do with why a goal was scored. Same rule for both teams...
an offside rush can create chaos as the guy that was offside is able to get into position he wouldn't have otherwise. Sustained pressure doesn't happen in a vacuum, the play leading into it can play a big role.
I'm good with it either way, either do away with the offside challenger, or keep it. Over the long term it balances out, I really don't like the idea of an offside not mattering if hit 15 second. If you really want to have some sort of hybrid rule (I don't, but to play devils advocate), I'd suggest a change of possession wipes it out (like a delayed penalty) rather than a time limit.
