I don't really want him back, but I haven't closed the door on it either.

I don't think he'll be as bad at scoring goals next year (though not much better either), but I also think he'll be a worse overall player. And he turns 33 years old before the end of next season.

That's starting to get pretty old in the NHL, unless you're a much better player than he is.

I think there was something like only 140-something players to play in the NHL last year that were born in the 80's or earlier. It's gotta be considerably less this year. I'll have to look that up later.
