It really takes some true effort to consistently have the league's worst offense in Anaheim. My God, how can that even be, they are not even close to the league's least-talented offense. They're even worse than the Isles and the sputtering Preds.
A mix of washed up vets (Killorn), babies (their core is very young) and Zegras.

Terry's pretty good though, if we were to move on from Rants that's the kind of guy I'd go after for half of the AAV.

They are still early in the rebuild...the guys who'll carry that team are way too young still.

Makes me wonder about the development of some of those players on a team that can't keep star players.

I think getting Hall was a good move for Chicago to put it simply.
Hall was okay, I think Foligno is the better "veteran presence" acquisition. Even if he isn't really an impact player he should still be a more than adequate defensive forward.

They obviously like Gudas quite a bit, I still don't understand the Strome signing though. And they needed to move on from some veterans ages ago, and they just refuse. If there was a time to sell on Fowler, it's NOW.

I'm talking about developing offensive stars. Foligno isn't helping with creativity in that way.

Is Hall? I honestly don’t know. If there’s a guy I’d define as “offensively creative” it ain’t Taylor Hall.

The point I'm trying to make is simply having good players around, even if they are not as effective as they once were. I'm not advocating for building a team around veteran players, but young guys and cheap players isn't likely recipe for growth.
