I can't open the excel in google docs anymore, it says it has too many cells. Is there any way to scale it back, if it's easy please do, if it's not don't waste your time, I can still see it on preview, it's just really slow.

let me try something, gonna repost at 930...let me know if it is better

also check ur computer to see if u have something called "microsoft open office" comes free with all pc's nowadays and is similar to excel (i believe u can also download for macs but not sure)

edit 9:37 - try opening now

I'm actually on a Mac And I never bought the programs. I can see it but it was just much better on docs.

I'll let you know at 2 when I'm home if it's better. Don't sweat it if it's not. It's not a huge deal.

Edit: I'll try that program if it doesn't work.

Quick question.

Am I able to make my pick at my time if the last three people haven't picked yet??

yes, if someone misses their timeslot their pick is skipped til they logon next and update it....thats the beauty of this time slot system i guess, the owness is put on the gm to make their alloted slot and keep uptodate daily on when that specifically is, not a reliance on only pm's which some ppl on here forget to send after selecting.

Calgary is looking to move up to another pick in the 4th round or 5th round. PM me if you're interested.

Goalies are overrated in a points league, IMO. There's still a goalie available that had the most points out of all goalies last season. Just sayin'.

EDIT - Actually second most points.. but still.

Would I be allowed to switch my pick if nobody has picked that player yet?

Skinner was picked, Hall was picked but no one picked Seguin because he didn't have that great of a rookie season? He has so much potential still and with Ryder and Recchi gone, he might actually fill in on the top 6 and play with Bergeron and Marchand instead of getting 4th line minutes.

Wasn't your pick like 10 spots ago? I don't know if that would be a good idea because if someone else after you wanted Ribeiro there going to want to switch and it'll create a mess.

I hope not lol. That would make this draft 200x more confusing with everyone going back and switching picks.

Yeah, I didn't think so.

EDIT: The player that I wanted was picked way before anyways, I just didn't see.

thats not true based on the pts system in this league....for example if a top tier goalie get 36 wins, thats 108pts, without taking into account any other goalie stats it is quite significant compared to allot of forward avail with their pt values imo (unless they all magically score 10 hat tricks each ;) )

The only things different about this league's point system and my league's is that there is no points for a Regulation Loss, which was 1 point in my league. But my league also awarded 1 more point on each shutout. I don't think it will be too much of a difference.

Bryzgalov only had 107 points last year.. Antti Niemi had 110. Bryzgalov is a better goalie than Niemi but even just 1 measily assist can put one goalie ahead of another.

yikes i didnt actually take into consideration assists were that high in pt values, cause such a random luck driven stat often... i understand goals being that high, but ya in that case ur right

....i think that is the biggest mistake we made so far.....your right that is so high for a stat like that

Carolina's GM hasn't been online for 2 days. Maybe he's on vacation or something? :dunno:
