This is actually a good player as well. Elias Pettersson was in my eyes the highest IQ defenceman on the Swedish U18 team that won gold. Translateable skillset with good mobility, defensive decision making and passing. He’s not really worse than Odelius or Salomonsson who went before.

It’s happened at least a few times in the NFL. Dallas Cowboys had Roy Williams (safety) and Roy Williams (WR) at the same time around 10 years ago.
