I've read somewhere that the problem with him is more about his attitude than about his play.
This is mainly why he was cut of team canada jr...

But I might be wrong. Hes young and the attitude can get better with age like PK Subban or Pat Kane

The guy that wrote that article is a idiot!

The reason why Bigras was cut was that Canada didnt need him in PP and they wanted bigger and more nasty players for defensive duties like Nurse and Heatherington. Imo there is nothing what indicates bad attitude.

I still prefer Bigras over Hicketts

colorado was so high on brigas when they drafted him partly because they loved his attitude....
things cn chance in a year, but i doubt it.

Everything I've read about Bigras is that he's a positive and quiet guy. I doubt he's the type of player that would have attitude problems.

There is no way. Listen to one interview from him and he is the softest spoken, quietest guy. I've never heard of anything like that from anywhere.

Its really irritating to me that he's not getting more recognition for the season he is having. If it weren't for the perception of him and team Canada and if he was drafted to a team that the media cared about would be a much different story. Now this stuff about an attitude problem, come on.

Bigras is leading the entire CHL in points from a defenseman but nobody knows that.

Wow How can I be an idiot when I said that ive read somewhere that the player had a bad attitude?!
I'm not the one here that thought that...? I just said this to point out that may have been the problem thats all.

You just showed me that between us you may be the idiot with that comment.

Calm down buddy!!!!. I said that the guy that wrote the piece of paper that your read is an idiot, not you.

I'm sure the comment wasn't malicious but to say that about someone that's never been attributed to have such issues without a link isn't cool.

Wow, I wasn't aware of that. Pretty amazing for a guy voted by coaches as the best defensive D in his conference last year. Bigras is definitely one of the most underrated prospects in hockey. If he was chosen two spots earlier he would probably be getting a tonne of respect.

Seems like everybody except Avs fans hate him hahaha. I guess that's because of the Team Canada games where he didn't exactly look great.

Otherwise, he's awesome.

If he was a Leafs prospect this thread would be at the top of this forum constantly.

Anyway, it's neat points are getting him more recognition in the league but I'm most excited about his solid defensive play. He's helped Owen Sound beat some strong teams lately. Shutout Barrie, beat Erie, Guelph, Sarnia.

I always thought he would end up like a Dan Hamhuis type defenseman, but he really added a dynamic offensive game this season.

Kid is going to be a beast.

Bump for 70 points. Kid is going to be a beast. Can't wait for camp next year.

Looks like Roy being disappointed in him this past camp lit a fire that nobody can extinguish

I don't think Roy was disappointed, just that Bigras didn't have that wow factor like he did in his first training camp. Bigras has to at least be a finalist of defender of the year in the OHL.

How's his chances of making it out of camp. Hedja and Wilson are UFA's so their could be room if he has a good camp.
