If Makar can go on to have just half the career of Thomas Poeck, I'll be ecstatic.
pfft, dream on.If Makar can go on to have just half the career of Thomas Poeck, I'll be ecstatic.
Nope, he's a late 98 birthday. Just 1 game on a professional contract this season would start his waivers clock & leave him exposed to the expansion draft.

That defensive back check where the Harvard player got in a breakaway. Makar seemed like he wasn't even trying lmao it looked way too easy to strip the puck awayJust clowning in the game today. So much better than anyone it boggles the mind.
Yeah. Dominates the game offensively, defensively and physically. Impressive for a midget who is a defensive liability. That defensive back check where the Harvard player got in a breakaway. Makar seemed like he wasn't even trying lmao it looked way too easy to strip the puck away![]()
That was pretty sick - I really hope the Avs can get Kakko or something this year and then come in with Makar/Kakko/TImmins to supplement the current team.
Secondary scoring and better D can make this team a contender.
Can't wait to see this guy in the NHL.
Makar vs Hughes will be very interesting to watch next season. They are the poster children for the new age defenseman.
He's currently ranked the best prospect in hockey almost everywhere.just back from the game in Manchester, that kid is something. He looks like a man playing with boys. Several fantastic plays on both ends of the ice.
Didn't know who he was yesterday, but when I saw him fly back and break up Donato's breakaway with ease I had to look him up!!

You should check out Girards stick lolHoly crap he plays with such a short stick. Are there many Dmen who prefer sticks like that?
