Youre ok- hes playing the heel here- its almost certainly an alternate account- who in their right mind dunks on a guy whose smashing through every challenge pro hockey puts in front of him with aplomb and maybe even too much confidence- lol! A troll does bud- dont feed the trolls- theres a special conversation to be had here...

Clarke and Broberg are the ultimate example of D taking longer to develop. People nowadays expect 18-19-20 years old D to come into the league and dominate. It doesn’t work like that.

I’m happy for Clarke. Always liked his potential and I’m glad he’s living up to it!
I think in Clarke's case it's just typical King's front office shenanigans of oversigning replacement level RHDs to block their prospects. Now they are forced to actually play him and surprise surprise, he's pretty good. The scary thing is they actually try to re-sign Matt Roy which would have sent Clarke back to Ontario again.

I don’t think Clarke would have performed like that last year even if given the chance. Sometimes they need the games in the AHL and pro experience to be able to deal day in day out with the best NHLers. I also find young D are having a hard time being consistent in the NHL. You could see last year flashes of what he can do but consistency was an issue.

Clarke is probably going to have his moments where he is struggling this year and it’s going to be totally normal and part of the process. He isn’t going to be fully mature until 26-27

It is not like Clarke has been buried for years in the Ahl either . One year was totally justified . I think they well managed this part about him. What I’m frustrated about is more deployment so far especially on the pp. his strength is to use deception to feed a rh player onetimer. They just should try to exploit every bit of his strengths and talent and design the pp around him. Problem is that these clowns managing this team have no one RH to shoot the puck.

They thought let’s sign Joel Edmundson 4x 4-5m so he can babysit him. I would have signed David Perron 1year instead.
