It's a lot of injuries too! That isn't on Kari.

On Kari is the roster he chose, the goalie rotation he has chosen (and he through our goalie coach under the bus), the deployment and the fact we were the only 'Big 5' nation to close our roster so soon. His reliance on the EHT and watching Extraliga games is obvious. Personally, I'd take maybe 5 guys from Extraliga... Sedlak is an obvious one.

You are right, but since Kari took Michal Jordán and did not take guys from AHL which were available, he can go fk himself righ into the a**.

Poor Smejkal.. meant to be a Top 6 forward for us, signs with the Sens (2 way), breaks his jaw and lsoes teeth, plays with a visor, nowhere near as noticeable as he was pre injury and now this. Dude is a warrior and I love him on the NT but it is not going well.

The only thing I know about Slovenia is that everyone that has ever gone there says it is an absolute jewel of a country and a hidden secret in Europe. Clear waters and beautiful mountains and an amazing country to road cycle!

I'd guess Skiing and Alpine sports are big there but I could also be talking out of my ass here.lol

Killed it off, Czechs will probably tie this game up now, one before the period and then another by 10 minute mark in the 3rd.

I've been jokingly calling us Team Itech this tourney as everyone has lost their teeth, noses and jaws.haha
 
One thing I can say for sure after this game, even half of it, Kazakhstan is in trouble.

It is a popular activity, it isn't a popular sport as in the form of entertainment. Same with skiing. There is a difference.

Wow. Thank god I am out drinking in Tokyo and am not watching this disaster. Planned to go home at around midnight (in 15 minutes), but I guess I’ll stay in the pub until this thing is over.

Jalonen should just leave, we are playing worst hockey in history under him, it absolutely unwatchable and we have historic loses against countries we never had any problem with. Even winning bronze last year, we were absolutely horrible and he refused Vrana Svozil and Galvas what the f?
 
The Slovenes only have a handful of players that play in Big 7 European leagues. Most players wouldn't even count against the AHL's experienced professional rule.
