Had more minutes and better rating then in the first game so idk. Kinda hard cause it looks like buffalo was again complete shit with once again just one goal scored lol

According to the online, they were much better in the match and it was an unfortunate defeat. But apart from one case, not a single mention of Kulich..

I was going to say the same.. I watched a bit and the pp had the puck on his stick a lot. He looked much calmer and poised. Hopefully he gets a few more games and can establish himself as an NHLer. I feel like if he scores a goal that he will get on a roll. Need that to happen before some very good forwards return from injury

Kulich should take C spot from Cozens. Cozens and Quinn are play killers, coughing up pucks every single time and are non existent without puck, while Kulich is complete opposite, he also killed it with FO percentage 83,3% is really really good.

Waiting for Oilers.. tune into Avs game. Pissed no Jiricek (but I get it) and then I see Mackinnon score on the PP.. Ivan Ivan was Primary assist and Ivan Ivan is playing on a powerplay with Mackinnon? Who saw that coming?

If we are not counting preseason macthes, Dostal has 3 shutouts in last 4 matches he played.
1st match - SO ... QF match vs USA (IIHF WCH 2024)
2nd match - X ... SF vs Sweden
3rd match - SO ... Gold Medal game vs SUI ( IIHF WCH 2024)
4th match - SO - today vs Sharks

DostWall is good goalie I'd say 😂

Dostal nice, but gk's and Ivan was everything that was nice tonight.

When I saw Buffalo score 5 I was so sure Kulich will get some, but of course he doesn't lol.

Rangers scored 5 also and Chytil nothing with only above 12mins ice time. Yet his lines mates both put up points.

Palat is in line 4 and very likely done in NHL lol at this pace.

How the hell are Slovaks with Tatar and Pospíšil putting up mor points then Zacha, Necas, Chytil or Hertl??

Jiricek is on nacho guard probably forever lol.

Start to the season is exactly as disappointing as the preseason sadly

I know I am a buzzkill lol, but to add to this:
Hamara, Sale and Dvorak not even playing in AHL

Performance of our guys in CHL ale also underwhelming at the start of the season: especially dissapointing so far are Holinka, Jecho, Curran and Fibigr

Dont know probably they are not good enough. At the same time Honzek is already in Calgary 1st team and Dvorsky is crushing it in AHL

Sadly I must admit that since that 2022 draft Slovaks are completey crushing us in terms of top prospects succes rate so far.

2022: Slaf and Nemec are stable NHLers, with Slaf probably going for 60-70points+ season. Sure they were 1st and 2nd pick, but we all remember very well that in that after draft season Jiricek looked better then Nemec and Kulich didnt seem to be that far behind Slaf. Now whereas they already play stable in NHL our "top" guys are struggling to even get an NHL spot.

2023: Honzek already in NHL, Dvorsky started AHL season amazingly, I will not be suprised if he gets some NHL action this season. And what about our two best guys from that draft? Sale and Dvorak will both probably still play with kids in CHL cause they are not good enough even for AHL yet ...

This shitty not make NHL trend has to break at some point, right? RIGHT!???

I'm relatively happy with start of season.

Rutta is getting about 20 a night. Hronek is top pair. Gudas is captain. So that's all good.

Pasta is killing it already. Ivan has a point and is ahead of Jiricek and Kulich in scoring. Klapka still playing in NHL.

Things i'm hoping to see soon to improve my mood (because what you type is all true):

Blumel callup
Rittich start
Vejmelka start

Baby steps, baby steps!

I am more hoping for other then Pasta putting up the points. But other our top guys have hard roles in their teams eg. Necas, Hertl, Chytil ... Kinda fear its gonna be Pasta and then 50 points gap and then others with barely 50 points.

I think Hertl and Necas are in great spots for 60 to 80. That's right, i said it!

Chytil needs to stay healthy... he's in a great spot on that line on a great team.

But yes, things suck.lol

He was exceptional against the Oilers last night (Klapka already a healthy scratch btw). Slaf is amazing. Nemec is on third pair with low minutes (14). Cernak and Fehervary continue to be very solid 20 minute a night type NHL guys (exactly what we need.lol).

Czechs are up to 15 forwards now. Still waiting for a Vrana start to hit 16. That is a reasonable expectation imo. Then maybe Jiricek or his practicing and go to AHL?

On a nice note.. Rutta is also a steady NHL guy getting around 20 a night.

Its nice how Rutta kinda settled himself in SJS as top minute D, shame he is 34 already.

Palat in 4th line really pisses me off lol. He gave him 6M salary and then play him in 4th line. I am worried he will be done in NHL after his contract runs out.

Oh well lets not be overly pesimistic, we will se in 20 games. I just really want Kulich to have full season with at least 40points and Jiricek to learn how to skate lol.

Vrana on line 3.. sounds like him and Milano are fighting it out for that spot. It's a good spot for him to be honest. Always thought of him as an outscorer on a 2nd or 3rd line.

Also a sad remains of a great scorer who on a great year could be capable of almost a ppg

He had a talent for scoring from a god. Shame it turned out this way
