I thought he was the best of the American defensemen at the U17 5-Nations, but I didn't think it was a strong group of defensemen for the Americans. Two way type. Might be a little more defensive than offensive, but he's not bad offensively either. Skates well. Already 6'0. Doesn't look like much more than a mid-round pick. If we're pushing it, second round is possible, but probably more of a 3rd or 4th rounder for 2024.

Named top senior defenseman in the state.

Joined Madison after the season. Has 1+0=1 point in his first 3 games.

Sick goal.

EP has him as going to Duluth for next season, but I found a video where he states he’s going to play USHL next year instead.

Don't take EP's NCAA future rosters that seriously. They approximate a lot of them without confirming what the plan is. To be fair, part of that is because the NCAA programs will defer a kid and have them play another year or two of junior before coming in. Programs have to stagger recruits ETAs, even more difficult with the portal now. And sometimes they bring a kid in earlier than expected

Is he still a Duluth commit? Only guy on the WJAC19 roster without a listed commit.

They might’ve deferred him a year and then he told them to get lost.

Seems like he may no longer be committed, but it's all rumblings at this point. NIL is starting to have an impact on certain college programs, especially in hockey, because a lot of smaller schools with successful d1 programs can't compete with the big schools offering successful teams. Strange dynamic
