No one wanted kaut for free. Pitts didn't take back zohorna. Kempny back to AHL.

Sounds like jiricek is still in camp ... Only good news of the day.lol.

The fact that Král was sent down did not surprise me, just like Kaut, we know where his weak point is and it will probably be difficult to correct it. I feel sorry for Kempný, after the injury it's probably not what it used to be. I'm actually just happy that Jiříček was sent down, what I've seen lately, he had a lot of flaws in his game and I couldn't imagine him playing in the NHL already this year.

I agree but it was disapointing... I agree I didn't think Kral was going to make it but I do think he's next in line and the LD on the Leafs is very good but also not the youngest so I think he could get games based on that. Not sure.

I'm more than fine with Jiricek (and Kulich) in AHL for now.. I'll be shocked if they aren't on team later or to start next season.

Galvas, I thought, would make it out of camp.. did not

I think Sustr cracked the opening lineup.. so him, Lauko and Sedlak are the nice surprises (4th line, 4th line, bottom pair).

Also, a lot of our Olympic and Bronze guys got cut! Klok, Knot, Blumel, Kempny all to the AHL. Ouch.

Looking back.. I was too negative.lol 3 of the guys I thought would be cut (Sustr, Sedlak and Lauko) survived! I was wrong about Kempny.

Rest, unfortunately, I was right about.... so we have 31 Czechs to start the season by a very quick and informal count.

Here is my list of guys I think will get a call this season at some point for 1 game minimum:

Lets hope for Kulich to tear it up with Rochester and get his 9 games this year, i believe in him. Jiricek must get much much stronger.

Got a point in his first game! The redraft in 3 years will love him! I hope.lol I'm honestly fine with Jiricek spending a full year away from the NHL. Send him to Jr's and, hopefully, World's. Next year is his year. We will see what they do though becuase they said they wanted to keep him close and he made it to the very final second for cuts.

I was watching Jiricek, he looked great, smashed few guys, he reminds me of Seider in his draft year, with little better offense.

Up to 27 guys in the NHL right now... next 2 most likely are Zadina and Sustr who have been healthy scratches but are on the big squad (I think).

5 goalies so far:

7 starts and 2 wins and some attrocious numbers.lol

Rittich is probably due for a start soon to bring that number to 6 goalies.

Landeskog is out for 3 months and kaut got a callup.. this has to be his best chance ever to not play 5 minutes on line 4.

And the last piece of good news



Will I finally see Kral play a NHL game?

Torts gave him his first gig and, I think, likes him. This might be good and he might get more than 5 minutes a night. We will see, don't know enough about the Flyer's lineup as I don't follow them at all.

This day could end with Kral getting his first NHL game, Kaut getting a good chance to make Av's roster and Sedlak getting regular NHL minutes.

It would also end with Kral practicing but not playing, Kaut getting sent down again and Sedlak going to the AHL.lol

I will say... I'm surprised that Sedlak got picked up but not Kaut.
