Pretty rough period for both sides. Nervous start, not much working for either side. Good goaltending battle though. Both Hrabal and Neuenschwander with some excellent stops, looking very sharp. Neuenschwander had no chance on the lone goal of the game. Just a very good deflection by Holinka.

Husinecky got walked... good job for Swiss to start period 2 with a almost full PP.

Happy it is 1-0. Some nice looks. PP looked decent. Hrabal had way too many high danger shots against him.

A bit young, but that line would be nice. Feel like they are testing out Cihar everywhere and have bigger plans for him.

Husinecký once did not know that an opponent was attacking him from the side and it was just a coincidence that there was no chance for the opponent, suspension... DDD
We have to improve in everything, this will certainly not be enough for the best teams.

Yeah. I always liked Johnson. I never understood why he kept on getting cut from national teams. Having said that, he's really made huge steps in recent months. Even I never thought he had that much offensive upside in him. In the U20 elite league he was in full domination mode and now Zug has no choice but to play him in the NL despite him leaving at the end of the season. He outplayed Leon Muggli and it's not close. He's starting to get more ice time as well. Johnson is a legit prospect. He just played an excellent period and he actually did similar things at NL level as well. Good kid and fun to watch.

Neuenschwander looking very sharp indeed. The only problem is that Hrabal is standing on his head as well.
The fact that Kirsch isn't dressed hopefully means it's his net tomorrow. I really don't wanna see Huet

Very poor game from czechs so far, yet we are leading somehow, but everything must change, lines needs to be shuffeled and overall we need to switch to completely different level, otherwise this will end badly

Switzerland has three Meier's in the lineup. Coaches stupidly cut Meier nr.4 who would be an upgrade on that defense.
