Jiříček's health looks promising. If he can handle the load, he will be in a wider nomination. In addition to Galvas, there should also be another defender with a basket, Jakub Fibigr, in the wider nomination.
On the contrary, Benák will not be in the nomination, as could be expected after his non-participation in the last junior tournament.

Fibigr is definitely an option too. Bit older might be to his advantage.

Shame about Benak.. I think he could help the team. He just needs guys around him that can finish the pass. Everytime I see him he is setting up guys and they are not finishing.lol

As for Benak, after Jiříček's latest injury, I have to say that I would be really worried about Benak. There will be a lot of much more physically mature and older players who can hurt him. As a journalist wrote in the video with Jiříček, this is exactly the reason why many do not like to see boys playing together with men.. I think that especially with Benak, the decision to wait at least a year is very reasonable, in terms of hockey, he has it, but the rest ..

With Tage back for Buffalo today and Tuch and Greenway expected back by the time WJC starts…and Benson making himself impossible to release for the tournament…

I can’t see a reason for Kulich to be held out.

I hve this theory that he's the next Sapo.. it'd be fun to see them on the same team. One in Top 6 and the other doing similar things in bottom 6.

Hello everybody, a quick outline from today's interview with the coach Augusta for the broadcaster Nova Sport about the upcoming nomination:

- The nomination will be announced on Tuesday.
- There should be 15 players from the NA leagues, the rest from Europe (both Czech and foreign leagues).
- There should be 6 returning players from the last year.
- The nomination should, with a high probability, include Jiří Kulich as the expected leader, although his participation hasn't been confirmed 100% yet.

He might be just sick, we don't know. He would be an option for sure if healthy. Not exactly solid defensively (yet), but very skilled with the puck and a good playmaker.

The real surprise is the absence of Dvořák, he declined due to personal reasons. Can I think of personal disputes with Augusta? He trained him last year..
The absence of Dominik B. did not surprise me personally, even Kočí was given priority. So much for the promising defender and his performances in the national team above all..
