My point was this seems to happen to him quite a few times during the game.
Puck rolled off his stick and it was a weak scoring chance.. It's not like he commited a bad pass that was intersepted or made a poor read on the play or did nto cover his man or anything of that nature where you could sense a poor hockey sense.

Honestly, he doesn't seem to give it away anymore than any of the other top D prospects. He also plays a ton of minutes, so he has more opportunities to turn it over. He's got a lot to work on, but given what I thought we were getting based on the chatter at the draft, I'm pleasantly surprised with what I've seen. He seems to play a pretty mature game.

He rubs me as a jack-of-all master-of-none sorta guy. Pretty good in all areas, not outstanding in any. Not necessarily a bad thing, just a thing.

Russia is overrated, I think they missing high end skilled forwards, like they always had.

A few zingers (too strong a word) between Gord and Ray. Ray said not everyone needs to be a "grump" - or something like that. I met someone who works at TSN and she said Gord Miller is "unpleasant" - to put it mildly.

She said Pierre McGuire was beyond kind.

Askarov bailing himself out there.

LOL smh... not gonna suprise me at all if one of askarov's dumb ideas is what costs russia a quaterfinal/semi final game..

I am definitely more impressed with his game than I thought I would be. I do think they put him out too much though

I feel like Askarov is going to f things up.
I just do not think he is that good and in tight game like that... I cannot help but to think he will give up a weak goal.

And Raska... like I’ve said before. This kid will make the NHL. Just competes so well. Hits a ton. So much damn energy.
He’s like a harder hitting ondrej kase
