I mean, the American goalie is pretty bad but the Czech skaters deserve a lot of credit for how they’re playing.

I've never been over the moon about his game, good skills but nothing over the top IMO. It was a rather ho hum draft at the top, not sure he sniffs top ten in this years.

Yup it was Broberg.

Was playing with a separated shoulder and torn ligament in his knee.

He could barely skate, it was ridiculous he was even on the ice. Broberg is an elite level skater watching him labour was hard to watch, they should have pulled him from the tournament.

Credit to his toughness, but someone has to take him out.

Czechs did a great job choking the life out of that game after the 3-1 goal but I don't know if they can play that way for the whole third. Also, no idea what USA is doing with Hughes, both in terms of his own health and his benefit to the team.

Now it's 50-50... I hope they aren't planning on sitting in the lead because us are too good.

The hughes thing is weird to me... I'm assuming whoever the 7th D for US is that he has or will be drafted in first 100.

Full marks to the Czechs. They've played stifling defense since tying the game, and have taken advantage of their chances.

USA will be missing their best player (or at least should be, for his as well as the team's sake), and absolutely cannot allow another goal against despite having a leaky goalie.
