Anyone know anything about Petr Hauser?

Never seen in the national team.

Not in the race for the NHL draft.

There is something to be enthusiastic about indeed.

Czech hockey is currently at its lowest point. 30 players in NHL and the Czech pool has been weak for the past 3 years.

The Czech Republic is still very close to goalkeepers (11 Czechs selected in the last 5 drafts).

It is enough to produce 3 players per year to reach the threshold of 45 players in NHL.

For 2022 there won't be many more Czechs in the draft (I'm betting on 10) but Jiricek, Kulich and Hamara will most likely be NHL players by 2026.

For 2023-2024, Sale and Jecho are sure values. Petr maybe. It would take 3-4 more players.

In any case, it's more interesting than the last 3 years.

For me, the encouraging thing is that we are getting D and C's drafted and that is a shortage for us.

In theory, we should have some good NHL starting goalies in the next couple of seasons, we have a LOT of guys right on the cusp of NHL. Next step is obviously the hardest.

I think Sapovaliv is a black horse in this year's draft. Haven't seen him ranked anywhere, but wouldn't surprise me one bit if he's the second Czech off the board. Very intriguing player, has the potential to skyrocket in the rankings, more so than Kulich and Hamara in my opinion.
Hamara has been somewhat dissapointing so far, missing Hlinka and all of Summer due to an injury certainly did him no favors. That being said, a "C" ranking from Central Scouting is laughable. If he can regain his pre-injury form, he is a top 60 prospect.

As for Benak, as talented as he is, he is also listed as 5'6", and with with his father being only 5'9", not sure how likely it is he grows much going forward. Very impressive numbers though, looking forward to watching him in the U16 national team as an underager.

The nhl is accepting more and more short players as long as they have talent. Look at DeBrincat who's only 5'7. We're talking about a draft that's been 3 years old. Maybe he won't even be on the radar until then, but if he has talent I doubt that with his father's height he can't be selected And you can't predict what size he'll be either, there could be a growth spurt and he'll get bigger than his father. Anyway, from what I've heard, his talent is way above average, he's a center and has a great defensive game. there, the future looks bright with Jiricek, Hamara, Sale, Petr, Jecho, Benak and so on.

I am quite skeptical about the players around 170 cm, but here the father was 176 cm (if he is really the son of Václav B.) and according to the prediction of height, the son could be a bit taller. I also don't think that height should have any big negative effect in this case. Of course, it is still very early, anything can happen, but the potential will obviously be there.

The size forecast is father's height + mother's height + 13cm divided by two.

However, for an offensive talent that stands out, size is less important.

The physical size plays a lot for more industrious players.

Even if that requires confirmation, Benak is very dominant.

That's how I think! The whole question will be how talented he is and how much will he develop in these 3 years.

There are several types of predictions, for example based on age and current height. And otherwise I agree.

I like Slavicek a lot more than Sapovaliv. Sapovaliv can play center and skates better, but Slavicek has higher potential due to better skill. I don’t think Sapovaliv has any higher than bottom six NHL potential. Slavicek will be top six if he fixes his skating. Kulich should go before both in the draft though.

Prcik on defense looks like a guy that should also be drafted. I see at least 6 drafted players between those four, Jiricek, and Hamara.

I would like to know what happened to Slavíček, he has played one match, he is probably injured.
Otherwise, Sapovaliv is also an interesting player in my opinion and can really be such a black draft horse. Or it can be a complete "bust" in the end ..

Has anyone seen Juricek this season? Surprised he’s still got 0 points. Aside from Kiviharju, he’s the youngest regular for TPS U20, so that’s positive, but I would’ve expected him to score more too. Fully expected him to be nominated for U18 games this season.

Juricek is, beside his point productivity at the moment, very promising. Really like his drive with the puck.

I think there would be other candidates such as Rymon, Moravec or Slavíček.

I studied their file but I did not select them.

They do not have a yield, nor an interesting specificity in my eyes.

Like last summer, I bet on 11 Czechs and 6 Slovaks in any case. Except for a few names, it should be the same.

I’d suggest taking another look at Slavicek before the end of the season. He’s very skilled, although his skating needs work.

is moravec related to the moravec who played for the sabres? don't think so, but you'd know better.

Any thoughts on David Krcal? Garoto led the MMČR u15 regional championship with 11 goals, 5 of them in the bronze dispute. The most talented striker after Benak in the 2007 class?

A lot of dirtyfighters predictions were damn accurate!

I didn't know where Hamara would end up... he played in the Liiga a little last year and now Junior. He should do very well this season. Feel like we'll have some high end Czechs in CHL.
