There were only roughly 500 votes cast today so those are essentially the official totals already.Do we have any idea of the % of polls reporting on that?
I’m still a bit confused as to what exactly was disliked about this. Wasn’t almost everything supposed to be privately funded? Did people just think that was too good to be true?
Those totals were all the early votes, the only thing left to count is votes from today and it sounds like there is only roughly 500 of those so yes the numbers tonight are pretty much it.So I apologize for showing late here, but are these initial reportings pretty much it? I haven't checked in on the AZ saga in a long time, but was hoping to see different results then have seen here so far tonight.
I hope plan B is not moving the franchise. I get that is how the system works but it's still pure bs.I believe there is a Plan B. The Coyote fans deserve it. With all the bullshit they've had to put up for so long.
Vegas has proven hockey can prosper in the desert. I truly believe with the right people at the top, Coyotes are not far from a very successful team.
Gutierrez is going to make a statement. I predict it will be the usual boilerplate.
- We're disappointed, but we respect the voters
- We're going to spend some time considering our options
- We appreciate our local fans and are committed to the market
There always a breaking point in everything. The big question was always, is there a soft landing spot somewhere that will not make the NHL top brass look stupid? If there one that would make the breaking point easier to reach.I'll refuse to believe the Coyotes may be relocating, until I see a puck drop in the new city.
Until then they're pretty much locked in if Bettman has any say on the matter.
They are, but, I don’t know, feels like given the chance, I’d want to be a major league city in a town that size, but I don’t know how many people saw the Coyotes as that. The talk was that the team wasn’t really a central part of the initiative as it were, which may be why they didn’t put much money into it. Which begs more questions from the league, to me.mega-projects always tend to be polarizing
I'm sorry to hear it. Again, late to the party, but have been pulling since the Basallie years that they should stay put. Hope Plan B is real. Those totals were all the early votes, the only thing left to count is votes from today and it sounds like there is only roughly 500 of those so yes the numbers tonight are pretty much it.
