Not hating this.

Makes his NHL debut in his hometown, would like a Gordie Howe HatTrick personally, he gets a few days of NHL pay so that is a nice bump to his bank account.

No real downside.

But as another poster pointed out, he does need to go back and be an all situations player as opposed to a 6-8 minute a night 4th liner.

Cuylle a 3rd/ 4th line mucker. Krav is not suited for 4th line play and you know it. Vitali has to put up offense ( goals and assists). GG doesn't give a Kravs ass about his underlying numbers. You do. Good for you.

I'm curious to see Cuylle and Gauthier work the walls.

Kravtsov days are numbered here. He's played hard, and hasn't been a vag this time, but if you can't nail down a right wing position on this team, that's pretty disappointing.

I don't see any harm in letting the kid get his feet wet at the NHL level. Let him see what it's like and what he'll need to do to elevate his game to the next level. As long as it's for a short time, I think it will be beneficial. Long term? Sure, that would be stupid.
