Yeah Sid pick a fight with the guy who was voted to be the most civil and gentlemanly player in the league. The guy who gets like 4 penalty minutes per season. And you didn't even win the fight. The sequence was: get dumped on your ass by a clean play by a soft player because you weren't paying attention, throw hissy fit, get ass kicked.

is crosby really going to go though another 2.5 years of this. go to colorado an win another cup.

it's a puck battle.
No it isn't.

This isn't two players locked and then one overpowering the other, this is one playing the body.

It's just the NHL allowing things to go for some reason.

Just like putting your hand on someone is holding, unless you're using that hand to throw them to the ice, then it's fine.

You missed the last bit: throw two punches after the linesman jumped in when you got knocked down.

About the least forceful reverse hit I’ve seen. I don’t like the ones when they go high into the face. Kind of an odd one to
Get upset about, but it gave the penguins a little jump after the “fight”.

Nope. You have the right to the ice you occupy. Generally a reverse hit is just a case of an unaware player being surprised that the player in front of them isn't moving out of the way.
You do, except you can't stop and initiate contact.

If you could, just get in front of everyone and stop and level them like it's some NHL arcade 3 on 3.

No, you totally can stop and initiate contact.

A player is allowed the ice he is standing on
(body position) and is not required to move in order
to let an opponent proceed. A player may “block” the
path of an opponent provided he is in front of his
opponent and moving in the same direction.

Moving in the same direction and block.
There's nothing there saying you can stop and hit someone.

That's a player skating and slowly down, thus slowing down the opposing player

Everyone knows you can't hit a player who doesn't have the puck that's 100% interference.

NHL let's it go because they let other shit go and sometimes it causes a nice little scrum, or something.
