Usually the word "carrying" refers to a team that is actually going somewhere.

Nothing is more frustrating than trying to carry and being unable to though
Whether that's because the team is so bad or you're just not up to the task (or both).

Crosby is frustrated.
I really think it's best for all concerned if he goes to another team for the remainder of his career. Pens are going nowhere with him, so why not bottom out and get a Hagens/Mckenna over the next couple of years?
His legacy in Pittsburgh is secure as is. As is, he is merely messing up the tank.
Oh, and put a shock collar on Dubas anytime he wants to make a trade for an expensive veteran player.
