Im starting to see Keefe as a meathead more and more.

Just very puzzling decisions.

Hope he makes us eat our words.

Fingers crossed

This is the first year I’ve really came around to it too. For years I’ve seen posters here rip into him but gave him the benefit of the doubt. Not this year. Too often incredibly suspect lineups both in lines and in scratches, overusing players he shouldn’t, his in-game adjustments are usually quite poor IMO… and we don’t seem to be able to start games and periods consistently well. We don’t bench anyone for poor play except the rookies - young players. His post game comments often leave me puzzled. Just too many things.

I'm on the sit Gio train, too. And I don't just mean rest him at the end of the season. Sit/rest him for the odd game until seasons end. Brodiec could sit the odd one, too.

Why? Didn't think he played that poorly at all. Seemed like at least a couple of goals that he was on the ice for it wasn't even his fault and was more the Sabres players being able to finish their good scoring chances unlike the Leafs.

That 2 on nothing was the game right there and they couldn't put it away. Those are the kind of prime scoring chances that the Leafs seem to have trouble putting away consistently.

When Holl is getting more ice time than McCabe and Liljegren especially as a pending UFA who doesn't add much to the Leafs; in a game where score was tied in the 3rd period and then Leafs were trailing with Sabres scoring 4 unanswered goals in a row you have to question the coaching

If Kerfoot is still on line 1 come playoff time I’m gonna lose it. I couldn’t give two shits if Bunting is slumping. At least we know he works up there when he’s on. Should just let him work through it leading up to the postseason.

f***s sake Kerfoot shouldn’t even be here still. Dubas not getting a scoring forward is such a waste. Kerfoot is so integral and defensively gifted we got to see him standing around no Noticing a pinching Sabre on their third goal.

Also, as usual f*** the refs. Miss an obvious high stick on Acciari in the middle of the ice but make sure to give Buffalona powerplay after they’re all ready up. They missed multiple interferences too, one of which came against I think it was JT in the dying minutes.
Bunting is a better option there. The one worry I have with him there in the playoffs is the officials allowing liberties to be taken on him which often result in taking him out of the play. That hurts his linemates effectiveness on both sides of the puck. Not good.
Still, I’m yet to see a better fit so just have to hope the importance of it being playoff hockey encourages the officials to place more emphasis on appearing credible rather than emotional.

It's the same old crap our player gets highsticked but no call and a ĺeaf player highsticked a player and It's never missed

thing is Tampa is the Second best time on home ice, it would be a real good thing to have home ice lol

I don't know man. Under keefe we've had home ice/last change against CBJ, Habs, Tampa and what good did it do? Keefe blew a 3-1 series lead to a freakin' nobody behind habs bench.

I guess if things don't pan out this time around; we gotta wait another 10 yrs or so to have hope The fallout from Dubas' doings is not gonna be pretty in the near future if leafs have a 1st round exit again

Keefe has successfully stagnated or ruined almost every non-core U23 player that's come through the pipe.

Nobody improves season to season under this guy they just get yo-yo'd until they regress or their offensive confidence completely disappears.

Luckily Liljegren is probably too good for Keefe to derail, but he's guaranteed scratching him rd 1.

this is precisely why I don't wanna bring Knies in.

This is the correct way to roll the D instead of the 11/7 bullshit

I've been laying off Rielly as he's the only major piece that has actually taken a "discount" (at the time) to keep this team together but man does he need to be better

He literally got out coached by Cory Perry and Weber. Although not having Ducharme was probably a net positive for the habs

Murray wasn’t terrible but the rebounds and lack of control after the first shot cost us. He doesn’t inspire confidence.

This game turned when they were gifted two penalties and none given on cross check to Brodie or high stick to Acciari.

This is bound to happen in the playoffs. I think it will be wise for the Leafs to not use that as an excuse. They've seent his before this isn't new territory. You gotta find a way to win, work with the tough tide and ride the waves; fight against against adversity

these are the game u use to prepare yourself against such things in the playoffs. How many times do we see this with the leafs now? they should have developed a thick skin towards these things by now IMO

He made one good/big play tonight when he stopped that dude from going in on an open net, but, that was just a desperation play. We need him to start making some big plays offensively again to offset some of the liability he can be in his own end at times. I hope Keefe at least learned never to put him on the PK.

Rielly's "discount" is not even a discount. Just because he'd have gotten more overpaid on the open market it doesn't mean we have a discount on him. You're getting what you pay for with him.

Kerfoot needs to be on a milk box at this point. Guy's gone missing. Hasn't scored in 21 games!?!?! How can you win with this?

I won't be surprised to see Kerf back on the 4th next game. Keefe has to come to his senses here and realize that Kerf is not a 1st liner....ever. He's just a better fit on the 4th. I don't care that much if he's not potting goals down there as long as nobody else from the other team is as well when he's on the 4th.
