.862% from Matt Murray absolutely didn’t help matters any.

If he plays a single game in the first round, then it’s automatically over, sign, sealed and delivered to Tampa Bay with flowers attached.

Toronto played like crap for most of the game, typical, they aren’t going to get past the first round. Regardless, it’s the same shit every single season. I’ve seen this song and dance, and I won’t be falling for it this season.

Liljegren has noticeably been playing worse since Keefe came out with his stupid comments about how Lily has to earn playing time in the playoffs again despite being one of our best defenders all season. Guaranteed that that comment and whatever “talk” Keefe had with him has him playing nervous, afraid to f*** up and lose his roster spot.
Keefe has successfully stagnated or ruined almost every non-core U23 player that's come through the pipe.

Nobody improves season to season under this guy they just get yo-yo'd until they regress or their offensive confidence completely disappears.

Luckily Liljegren is probably too good for Keefe to derail, but he's guaranteed scratching him rd 1.

He sucked on Saturday but really didn't think he was the issue tonight. Team just shat the bed defensively

Murray wasn’t terrible but the rebounds and lack of control after the first shot cost us. He doesn’t inspire confidence.

This game turned when they were gifted two penalties and none given on cross check to Brodie or high stick to Acciari.

Can we end this 11/7 bullshit? All our defencemen looked terrible and the forwards were giving away the puck like candy.

Yeah it's time to stop with the 11 F 7 D galaxy braining. You want to keep the D engaged, go to six and start a rotation of healthy scratches to load manage.

Gio hasn't been sharp lately and it's time he gets some rest. I get the not wanting to shut down the engine kind of thing, but it's diminishing returns.

Gustafsson doesn't really need to play.

Rielly should be a healthy scratch on merit but won't be.

Holl and Schenn can share some time.

You just scratched 4D, who is playing?

Thought Gus moved the puck well. Gio needs to sit. Swap them out. Lily struggled. Maybe get Schenn for a game. Please stop the 11/7 I agree.

I just don't believe that this team will ever put in enough effort consistently to win a cup.

Imagine this team playing 16 complete playoff games.

This team folds under pressure. We've seen the same movie for several seasons now. More so during the dubas/keefe era IMO.

Keefe can't movtivate the guys; the high AAV guys can't motivate themselves and worst of it all Keefe has absolutely ZERO clue how to run our defense. We leave middle of the ice unprotected so many times its a freakin' JOKE

Something about this Leaf's team and weekday games.. This should have been an opportunity for them to squash out a hungry team but they treated it like any other game.

Dubas needs to 100% be on this come the summer. Or Whoever is the GM.

I'd take a run at trying to trade for Hellybyuck. Contract year if the Jets know he's not coming back then they are probably open to something. Jets also have the best goalie in the OHL, I don't know how good of an NHL prospect he is though

watching the Kraken v. Stars game and hearing the commentator say McCann has 33 goals just set me off. In what world do you protect one of Holl/Kerfoot over him in that expansion draft? Still have a glaring lack of skill and finish on the LW. Once again failed to address it at the TDL.

Why? Didn't think he played that poorly at all. Seemed like at least a couple of goals that he was on the ice for it wasn't even his fault and was more the Sabres players being able to finish their good scoring chances unlike the Leafs.

That 2 on nothing was the game right there and they couldn't put it away. Those are the kind of prime scoring chances that the Leafs seem to have trouble putting away consistently.

We are currently talking about the regular season, it matters again, keep up.
It matters if you're talking about a team like the Leafs who have proven they can't get it done in the playoffs while we see the same old bad habits that have killed them still kicking around

It doesn't matter at all for a team like Tampa who have proven they have winning DNA and can easily flip a switch

Just atrocious in our own end tonight, and not just the Dmen. The craptain just setting a bad example tonight of how a team should play.

Honestly, I didn't think Murray was too, too bad tonight.

McCabes first bad game as a Leaf.

We need Reilly to start making some big plays offensively again.

They're going to have to deal with the same type of thing against Colorado as they too are fighting for a PO spot.
