Want wing help?

Milan Michalek would like to play with his brother I am sure.

Yeah, I don't agree. Arizona has prospect chips to play that few could match.
Any team with an abundance of top 4 defenseman probably will want to fill other weaknesses in their line up. Besides ARI fans never want to give up their prospects because they're cost controlled

Vermette, Hanzal, Stone and Michalek will all be UFAs next summer, and Rieder is still unsigned and reportedly playing hardball with management. They might not be in the mix to land Trouba, but something else could be brewing here.

Is the impasse with Rieder to the point that they'd consider trading him? If so, does Rieder for Fowler make sense for the Coyotes and Ducks as a starting point for a trade?

Coyotes don't really have a need for another top 4 LHD. OEL and Goligoski will take the lions share of the minutes on the left side. Murphy and Stone will get most of the minutes on the right. If we can find a clear upgrade on Stone on the right side, we'd probably be willing to move Rieder.

Rieder is a Tippett forward though. The problem is he's a left-handed shot, which we have way too many of, and he wants more money than he's earned.

I wish shattenkirk would agree to extend there... would be cool to see Shattenkirk as a Yote

I mean he still might. I know everyone says he's only going to sign in the Northeast, but that's never been explicitly said by any of the involved parties, just outside speculation.

I have no clue if Shatty would want to sign there, but man, I would love it if he did so we could snag one of the Coyote's forward prospects. A man can dream after all.

I think we're still in the market for Top 2 D. IE Shattenkirk or Trouba. Can't see us making a deal for a guy who wouldn't be paired with OEL for an elite top pairing

Chayka must be expecting to lose Stone next year. It doesn't make sense to acquire a top 4 dman when you've got a quality top 4 already, but need someone up front

I'd love to see Max Domi play for the Blues.

What do you think it would take to get the Coyotes intersted in sending Domi and one of Strome or MacInnis to StL?

Everything is fair game except Tarasenko, Pietrangelo, Parayko, and Fabbri.

So basically anyone Arizona would want. Great job. A+.

Or, this could be another Gudbranson situation. The player wants a long term deal, but the team isn't willing to go long term just yet (Gudbranson wasn't recovering from a surgery though). The solution, one year "show me" contract, and the player gets traded elsewhere.

Maybe the Coyotes have plans for DeAngelo and want to clear space for him, maybe not. Anything is possible.

When will we find out if they're going to buy out Michalek? We talked about that as a possibility on the Yotes board after Schenn was signed.
