Lord knows, I try to keep silent re: TDA, but it feels like they broke the team a bit. Taking away 1/3 of the line up of a team of old and new on the cusp and practically, a President's Trophy winner, just feels like such an overreaction to me..especially for the folks they brought in. I hope I am wrong. But, these guys are human and have attachments and familiarity. And, it feels almost like a rebuild instead of an improvement.

TDA is not even the first thing wrong with this team. There's a reason why his +/- is almost aligns with his points this season. He needs someone to carry him.

Problem is unlike the Rangers when they went into rebuild mode, the Canes got no assets back this year for letting players go

The worst part of these past few games is that they're just...boring. You can't get excited for a PP, because you know they're not going to score. You can't get excited for 5-on-5, because every shot is just going to get blocked. There's our goaltending, but there's only so much they can do.
